How tall for disney rides

We definitely started simple with our toddler and let her ride a simple log jammer ride at idlewild a semi local amusement park that had a 36 inch height requirement.

We rode barnstormer first before sdmt and she was good. She did not want to ride anything multiple times she just wanted to expierence once then on to the next adventure.

Animal Kingdom Height Requirements There are 8 total rides at Animal Kingdom, 4 with height restrictions and 4 without. To do a rider swap: Ask a cast member at the attraction if they offer rider switch. Any ride with a height restriction should have it. The first half of your party will continue on the ride. At least one adult and the too-small child ren will be sent to a separate waiting area while the rest of your group rides.

The chaperoning adult will also receive a rider switch credit and possibly a specific return time. After the first part of your group goes on the ride, they take over supervision of the small child.

If the adult waited with the child alone, they are able to bring up to 2 other guests with them to ride even if they were already part of the group that just went on the ride as long as someone stays behind to supervise, of course. If you're heading to an unfamiliar park with a little one, prepare them in advance for what is going to happen when they're too little or don't want to ride. Note that just because your little one can ride doesn't mean they're necessarily ready to ride.

Wow, this is such great and specific information. I wasn't aware they had different heights for different rides. Thanks for posting! I love it because there's something for everybody including every age can't wait to take my kids there. We live switch rider, our youngest kud is not super young but she gets scared pretty easily so we really use this advantage and not just my husband and me were able to ride but my oldest kid was abke to rude twice without the double line????

Back when I'd take my daughter we'd have to take turns sitting out certain rides. Love that you've made a comprehensive list for others. Makes the planning stages easier to maximize fun to be had. As tempting as it is, be aware of height requirements and have realistic expectations for what your child can and can not ride.

Remember, the rules are there for safety reasons and rides will be around for the next tripplus it gives you something to look forward to! Thanks for sharing all the tips!
